Trek7k recently wrote a blog post about our experience riding the Blackjack Trail. Honestly, Blackjack was one of the most technical and most remote trails I have ever ridden. The stakes really are high as you gamble with life and limb on some of these features: you are a long way from the car, and a looong way from the hospital! This video is one of the best I’ve seen yet, profiling the various features on the trail and talking a little bit about its history. Great video of this trail. Glad to be able to watch it because I don’t think I will be riding it, those are some crazy features. Looking forward to riding some of the other trails in that area though.
@grandlakejames, you should at least take a crack at it! There are bailout options around all the major features. Although sometimes the bailouts are decently technical too…
