THIS IS A BOGUS STORY and it is all over the internet and has been banned from other sites. Yes, Iron Horse is having corporate issues presently, but they have NOT CLOSED nor are they LIQUIDATING IT EITHER. They may sell out to a foreign bike manufacture or have their MTB's made in a foreign manufacturing company like many other bike companies have done. Most likely a misguided or disgruntled ex-employee out trying to smear IH's name. I own two IH MTB's and there customer service is fine. Not the best, but fine.

I read that post on MTBR and if that is true, all I can say is d4mn. It's horrible to hear about anyone losing their jobs right now with this economy but when you hear how that happened you have to just shake your head and wonder. Iron Horse made a great bike and it's too bad that they had to go out like that. Hopefully somebody picks up their guys who were out there doing things the-right-way-for-the-right-reasons and gives them another chance to stay in the bike field.
