Word on the street is Teva will release its first mountain bike shoe, the Links in fall 2011. Sponsored pro mountain biker Jeff Lenosky collaborated on the freeride shoe design that features Teva’s proprietary Spider365 “sticky rubber” soles. The shoe will boast other technical features including an ion-mask coating for water protection. On top of all that, the shoe looks pretty dope too.
If the name Teva still makes you think of sandals and whitewater rafting guides it’s time to update your image of the brand. The Teva Mountain Games held in Vail every year includes mountain biking, climbing, and even trail running events. We’re stoked to see what else the company has in store for the MTB scene!
