I went to a couple shoe manufactures and the ones I checked (Specialized, North Wave, Mavic, Sidi, Gaerne, Sixsixone) all do not offer the molding of the upper sole. Some offer different insoles and there are some aftermarket soles that mold to the feet but other than that..Nope.

Are there any other moldable biking shoes out there that you know of? It seems like a great idea and I'm surprised no one else has thought of it (or something like it ) yet.

The shoe is not rebuildable..It has a very tough sole Carbon and toughen polyurathane.. Now the difference between the M-310 and the M-230 is that the 230 only has the heal cup that is mouldable while the 310 is fully. Also the treads underneath are totally different the 230 has a more agressive undersole while the 310 is more oriented for the Racer.. Personally (and I had this conversation with one rep at a show in Toronto) I wish they had a fully mouldable shoe with the sole from the 230 / 182.. But I can't stress enough the difference between a regular shoe and these moulded ones.

Element, do you know off hand if these shoes are basically rebuildable like Sidi shoes? The fitting system seems pretty snazzy but I'd hate to drop ~$300 for a shoe that simply wears out with use. BTW, you mentioned that the M-230 is only partially moldable. Do you know the differences in the two off the top of your head?
