Ohh yeah..The fall line at Mountain Creek was steep and the exposed rock was old and coarse. Just like dragging an eraser over sand paper.

Recently mounted 2 Maxxis tires (tubeless with Stans) No problems at all. One was a Ardent EXO the other a Ikon 3C, EXC, EXO. From your experience and mine I would say Maxxis tires are tubeless ready, and very good.

Hi Santa.. Yes the price varies depending on version. 3C maxx grip, Super tacky or these. In High Roller II there is no official UST version.

I think the true tubeless ones are more? Awesome article, Im looking at new tires and Ive been looking at these, I had the first set of high rollers and thought they were good, so I would imagine these are better!

Not too many tires for $50 out there anymore–I assumed these would be more expensive. Great write up!
