Ahh, I get it. I'm on my first mt bike. (Hardtail 29) I have never ridden a FS.. However, I can sort of relate..When my back tire has too much air pressure its like a baskeball bouncing down the trail under me..

Thanks for the knowledge!

Hi Spartan. Tracking, meaning the rear following the front, keeping itself under the rider, rather than bouncing off line left or right due to inadequate dampening control.. I have been on more than a few bikes where the rear shock was bad or tuned bad and the rear just couldn't keep up with the terrain and rather than follow the unevenness of the ground, it skipped about.

Under your last picture...."The photos above show excellent examples of railing a berm and hitting a hip jump. It wouldn’t be possible if the bike could not track well." What do you mean by Tracking well?

Smallest size is a 7.5x2". So any bike that goes through a deep enough stroke would benefit. Otherwise you would have to look elsewhere for shorter stroke shocks. Definitely this shock is my favorite at present time.

Sounds like a great shock! It looks like they offer different sizes so does that mean there is an appropriate DBAir for XC bikes?
