We’re officially over halfway through the 30 Days of Biking Challenge! At this point, for me, the novelty has worn off a bit. I’m not quite as stoked on getting in my daily ride as I was at the beginning of the month.

However, I’m finding that riding every day has really become routine, and that even when I need to find a weird way to squeeze in a ride into an otherwise busy schedule, I’m so glad that I did!

All of this is making me think: why do we need to stop at 30 days? What about 365 days of biking? Maybe I’m just dreaming, but it would be fun!

Day 13

After a long day of riding during the Singletracks Colorado group ride, I decided to take things easy. A long 7+ hour round-trip drive to the airport, thanks to a nasty snowstorm covering the entire state, also did in my day. So, I only got out for a short morning cruise through town on the fat bike. Still, it was great to get out and breath some fresh air!

Day 14

For some reason, I had a hard time getting motivated to ride on Day 14. However, my desire to get a buffalo chicken footlong overcame my predilection towards inaction, so I hopped on the road bike and took a circuitous route to Subway. Unfortunately, no photos from this day, just Strava!

Day 15

The forecast for Day 16 didn’t look promising, so I knew I had to log some dirt miles on Tuesday. After work, I added some Stans to my tires, and got rolling on the Niner RIP 9 RDO!

I did some exploring, and discovered a man made hole in the side of a rock face.

No idea what it was for, but it's only about four feet deep.

Day 16

A storm system was scheduled to roll in and start dropping water on us from the sky in the late afternoon, so I decided to hop on my road bike for some quick miles during my lunch hour.

It was windy, but at least it was dry!

Keep on trucking, everyone! We’re quickly closing in on the end of April!
