I love the Google map thing to locate trail heads. Very interactive. Value added to singletracks. Thanks!

Most annoying thing(s) for me on the trail…..?

#1…rude trash talking "locals", or "bro-brahs" that supposidly ride everyday on that particular trail all the time and have some kind of personal ownership taking it WAY too seriously. Easy dude…don’t quit your day job.

#2….trails shared by equestrians…like walking your dog, I believe that equestrians should pick up their pet’s shit!

The BV was in aurora that I dealt with originally. I’ve walked in the Westminster store to browse but never wheeled and dealed. Never been in Wheat Ridge though I hear that they are the experts. I’ve had a really good experience just getting my tire bead put back on my rim at Bicycle Source? On Colorado Blvd? those guys sound like they’ve ridden a few trails in their lives! I would go back there.

My LBS is Bicycle Village. They are a chain of bike shops in the Denver area. I was through with the one down the street; I had a really bad experience not to mention not even getting fitted correctly, so I went to a sister store, and they were more than happy to help me out. (Boulder) Sometimes sales people just want to sell you a bike and not take the time to fit a first time FS buyer. My size L I had rode for about 4 miles on smooth/rocky singletrack on it so it was in near perfect shape. I just took it apart, cleaned it with a tooth brush, buffed the tires with wet car tire stuff and presto! The LBS commented, "I thought you said you rode this thing?" They immediatley tagged it and hoisted it on the shelf without a blink.

I appreciate everyones help on this subject. I thought I could make the L work after adjusting the seat back 20 mm and purchasing a 20 mm longer stem. I rode another trail here in Colorado, and i just felt cramped. I was miserable. I cleaned the bike up and took it back to the LBS. Specy had an XL available and its on order; They’re going to swap it out for me no cost even after the 30 day sizing guarantee. Now thats service!

The seat post could extend higher and I normally extend to where my knees are bent at about 30 degrees. At that point I’m a bit more aerodynamic if you will…I have a long taurso and long arms. I should of test rode it before I bought it eh? Lesson learned. I had champaign taste on a beer budget as this was my first full susser. I’ll ride it this spring and summer and put it through its test.
