We’re working on a list of the best flow trails and want to know which one is your favorite!

Don’t worry if you don’t like flow trails–we’ll be asking about other trail types soon…

Is there a place to view the list and results?

Once we get enough responses we’ll compile a top 10 list and will share details about each of the top 10 trails.

While a top ten list is great, a raw data list to view would be more useful, as what are the odds any majority of people will be near a list as small as top ten. In other words, there may be some hidden gems out there that not enough people know about to make a top ten until they are shared.

We’ll do our best to share the useful bits for sure! There’s also a “long tail” with surveys like these where there are hundreds of one-off responses that we don’t want to bog people down with. If we get a solid list with 10-or-so trails with dozens of votes each, that should be a pretty good endorsement!

The survey was embedded using some custom code we wrote last week. 🙂 No plans (yet) to open this up for others to use.

Actually, I’d say the odds of being within, say, weekend trip distance of at least one of the selections on this list, if you live in the United States, will be pretty good for most people. 10 is actually a lot of choices.

Don’t want to influence the results by giving away too much, but so far the top 6 includes trails in CA, CO, NC, SC, and PA.

My favorite is in Maryland at Rosaryville State park. Has some nice climbs and descents. Very nice flow with switchbacks. Not to intense but lots of fun.
