Hello!
I am just getting into Mountain Biking (used to road bike way back in the day) and so far it is great! I am riding a bit oldschool with a Cannondale Killer V900. I’ve been lurking here and reading for some time and thought that I should register and say "hi".
Thanks!

Welcome! Interesting frame on that Cannondale! They have always come up with the unique designs. Definitely a functional hard tail though!

After looking at all of their products over the years, I’m convinced that Alice jumped down the rabbit hole because she was a scout for Cannondale and looking for designers for their products.
PS: Welcome to the site!

Thanks everyone for the warm welcomes!
Yeah…Cannondales have always looked kind of freaky lol. I love it though…its fast, rigid, and very very nimble. At 22.5 or so lbs its pretty light too..esp for its time (1995).
I look forward to hitting more trails in my area, and then traveling to some maybe up around Robinsville, NC. I go to Deal’s Gap at least 4-5 times a year…might as well start bringing the bike along 😃

Pretty light? My daily ride is over 1 ½ of your bikes 😀 I’m jealous.

Careful. You start riding the trails here, you’ll forget about the tail of the dragon and start leaving the mc at home.
In all seriousness, give tsali a whirl while you’re up here. You’ll love it and its right next door.

I dont ride MCs lol I’d kill myself. I drive a Honda S2000 and a 1973 Nissan Fairlady Z…time to start looking for bike racks 😀

JonRHD send me…MTI a message if you are heading this way I live 20 miles from Tsali and we can ride. Maybe Schwim can come out as well…and Tsali is much more quite than Deals Gap!

Thanks for the invite! I might be heading up there sometime around July/August…a friend of mine is graduating college and really wants to go to Fontana with a bunch of friends as a gift to himself. If we end up going he wants to drive The Dragon and the Cherohala Skyway and maybe raft the Nanatahala….I think I can talk him into hitting some trails too 😛

Also, there are some pretty cool trails right at Fontana. A little more difficult than tsali, but when they are in good repair they’re a lot of fun!
