I’ve noticed a bar mounted headlight that has a strobe effect that is very bright and annoying . Bright from 100 yards but small/compact . I want one . Any help on who makes one and what is a good cost to pay .

Most bicycle lights have this feature. Search online for MagicShine or Lumintrek for a reasonably prices one.

Plus one on Magic Shine, but NiteRider makes some awesome lights as well. Just do a Google Search on those Madd mentioned along with NiteRider. Online outlets like places like USAJenson, Pricepoint, Universal Cycles, REI, among a few others will have them and some times on sale at a great price.

Also check Reviw section here for real people’s experience. If you’re looking for commuter light, you can get a decent one for $30 – 40. And it can be used as handlebar light for singletrack. But if you need a primary light for dirt riding, then deffinatelly check MagicShine or Spoke Grenade (I use one). In this case you’ll spend less then a $100
