Is it worth it? opinions/advice

I am just getting into mountain biking, I have ridden a few times before and just borrowed a bike. But now that I have decided that I love the hobby I am looking for a bike. I went and test rode this bike, but wasn’t sure it was worth the money. It doesn’t have the stock fork but a fox vanilla instead. Let me know what you guys think. This was the ad I found on craigslist.

Depends on the wear and tear on the drivetrain and other components, and that’s impossible to say from a grainy photo. But for $350 it’s pretty hard to go wrong…

Hey, thanks for replying. Haha yeah the photo sucks, but I went and saw it and all the components are in decent shape. Haha I know 350 is nothing for a mtb, but I’m on this college budget thing.lol

I think 350 is a decent price what year is the bike? Make sure rims are tru does crank spin smooth. Take off chain and spin to check bottom bracket. What are the derailers shimano what type?
