woke up this morning to freezing rain with ice covering tree and branches down. still went out for a ride, I did not ride the trail, but still went in the empty lots behind my house and had a blast. I never thought about doing that before this year my wife says I’m crazy and I’m starting to believe her. I’m not the only one to get excited about this weather am I?

It’s not crazy until you swap the bike for a motorcycle in that same weather 😉

As a skier and MTBer I love nasty weather. 2′ of fresh powder is heaven.

For what it’s worth if you’re crazy you aren’t alone… I ride my motorcycle in the rain all the time just for the practice when it comes to controlling wheel spin.

good to know I’m not the only crazy person, but you have to admit it’s a lot of fun. I think I need some studded snow tires on my bike more freezing rain and snow today

Last time I was in California (LA area), it was 55 degrees and I was the only person in shorts and a t shirt. Everyone looked at me like I was the one who was insane.

today it’s about 35 in Sioux Falls SD when I was shoveling had to get down to a sweatshirt had a good sweat rolling. The weather is very unpredictable this time of year we had 60 last week.
