Last week Alexander Bowers, aka the Singletrack Sampler, and I got out for a pedal and shred on the Cottonwood Trail here in Salida, Colorado. Alex had just driven from 1,000 feet of elevation, and we proceeded to pedal from 7,000ft up to 9,500ft to see how he’d be able to handle a drastic change in elevation.
