Description
Solid singletrack with many creek crossings. Forested and cool. Lower section is rocky and rooty, but there is curvaceous singletrack in the upper section. Ride up the gulch to the top of the hill, and decend at speed. Watch for bikers and hikers on your way back down. More technical than nearby Hewlett Gulch and Dadd Gulch.

Review: First off AWESOME trail, i really enjoyed it. Trail is rocky in sections. Climb to the top and ride down, climb is really easy. I almost felt like I was riding flat land. Very technical trail, esp around the "stiarcase" area.

Review: Medium effort climb up a wide canyon with some shade and water. Nice trail for a dog run. Few on the trail, some hikers.

Review: I loved and really miss riding this trail. It was my go to trail when I lived in Fort Collins. Its definately some work going up with some technical sections that really test your legs and your balance. Lots of rocks and stream crossings. Also, look out for the accasional Rattler on the trail. I came accross a few on my rides up there. Great trail and comimg down it is an absolute blast!!

Review: Great trail. Lots of climbing but well worth it. Be ready to get wet!!
Review: Rocky and difficult on the way up. The creek crossing aren't too bad, but there are many sections where the large rocks, tight spaces, and short uphills combine to make you get off and climb over. The ride back feels totally different and is much more rideable and enjoyable; if ride in were as rideable as the ride out, this would be an awesome trail. Otherwise, it's just ok. It's fun to get a little wet (really only your feet), and the trail stays cool. We had a good time. Lots of hikers, families, kids, and dogs on the trail (Saturday morning).
Review: This was one of my favorite trails when I was living in the Fort Collins area. Lots of technical sections but mostly gradual slopes which make these sections ridable. One crazy terraced hill laced with roots and rock ledges that is a huge challenge to ride up. Many stream crossings and great fun. When you get to the top turn around and fly back to your car in no time.

Review: This trail is more of a hike-a-bike trail with all the creak crossings. Best ridden late in the season. I would rather hike this trail then ride it. Not one of my favorites in the area. I probably will never ride it again. Once is enough.

Review: If you like creek crossings, you'll LOVE Young' Gulch. There are 48 crssoings each way and some of them can are deeper than your hubs! You will get wet. This is one of my favorite early winter rides when the creeks freeze over and there is a covering of snow along the trail.

Review: This is my favorite short ride. To earn five stars at only 5 miles each way, a trail had better be pretty special, and this one is. It is consistently entertaining throughout its length. There are rocks galore and stream crossings by the dozens (no exaggeration). The thick forest also helps keep it cool. Go here to beat the midsummer heat and have a great day!
