Description
Follow a path heading towards the woods and dam of Sunset lake. Follow this trail through some
suburbs untill you reach the Foerst Station. Then bear right onto West Bench Trail. The trail
continues to Powder Horn downhill trails and also to lands end. But, I stoped at a spot where a
stream is the trail for 1/4 or so miles.

Review: Rode west bench on 9/16/12. It was a great ride, We made a loop out it. total of just over 20 miles. Took a nap at the chair lift then continued to head west to the radio towers. came back through the deep creek trail. The creek bed is a very hard rocky ride. Did an endo, everything is well but my ego. the weather was great and the views were awesome with the aspens changing.

Review: High elevation riding deep in the trees. Even in the hottest parts of summer you won't sweat here. Expect solitude.

Similar Trail: Talk of the MTB trails expanding on the mesa.

Review: This is a very fun trail for late summer riding, as it tends to be wet til July. I like to ride it all the way to Palisade point, where a great view of the Grand Valley can be enjoyed. After you pass Powderhorn lift 2, the trail will join a rough doubletrack for a few miles, then pop out on a gravel road. I take this to the west edge of the Grand Mesa before returning to Powderhorn.

Review: Starts walking across a beaver dam. Bring plenty if insect repellant, mosquitoes, don't stop. Deep in the trees ride.

Review: There were some great rock gardens on this trail and in additiion some great fast hard packed single track. It is hard to find, I found it by accident, but if you do you wont be disapointed.
