There is a good range of difficulty. There are some good beginner areas, a number of technical intermediate sections, and further back are some pretty good climbs and advanced terrain.

Review: I ride this trail quite often since I live a few miles away. This is some of the best trail in this area. It is a mix of easy and more difficult. The bridge that was out is now fixed and the guys from South Side Cycle have been doing routine maintenance on the trails and they remain in good shape. There are some new trails that aren't marked, but it is difficult to get lost. Some good uphills and downhills, plenty of roots and rocks to deal with, but also some smooth fast sections. Great job goes to the guys from South Side Cycle!

Similar Trail: BSC Trails which connect to Stinky Trails (via a tunnel under Hwy 74 down by the softball fields) in Peachtree City. Also similar to Dauset Trails near Jackson, GA.

Review: This trail is only 20 minutes from the Atlanta Airport Hartsville. It was a pain trying to find the trailhead. The easiest way onto the trail is to park at the Wendy's on Crosstown Drive. Go to the paved trail and the entrance is on the right and marked by a small sign. The trail is very rooty, but has good ups and downs with some dips. The trail wasn't marked well at all, but if you follow the trail most traveled it seemed to be the correct way. There is some mud in the dips and the bridge is out across the creek. You have to get off of your bike and navigate the wobbly boards laying across the creek. I didn't get to ride much due to time restrains, but what I did ride was fun and made me want to allow more time to ride it again.

Review: Very tight, and very rooty. Although, it does offer some challenges maneuvering through the tight trees and root systems. Great local single track though.

Review: Rooty and tight singletrack, beginner in the beginning but some of the south loop trails are pretty hilly and challenging. The main trail goes south and follows Flat Creek from the trailhead near Wendy's and ends at a paved path, whereupon you must turn left, then turn in right just before the wooden bridge to continue on the singletrack. There are several small loops all along the main trail. There is also a connector trail leading further south to the new HWY 74 tunnel that takes you to a faint trail beside the road to the parking lot where you'll find the kiosk and trailhead for the baseball soccer complex trail. Main loop there is about 2 miles and is more flowy and a bit faster, but with some good fairly technical parts too. Navigation is confusing for newcomers and signage needs work. Overall a great system of tight, fast singletrack that is definitely worth visting.

Review: Fun rooty and tight training trail. Great to get out for a couple hours and hammer! Best trail in the area and has decent length with room for expansion.

Review: From the first trailhead the network begins with multiple loops. The trails connect to the loop at the
baseball/soccer complex, but you must cross Hwy 74 to get there. The connection is located by the
second entrance to the complex and the entrance to a warehouse building parkinglot. Trails are
relatively technical for the area. Rooty and hilly and many options to create your own loops.

Review: This trail is a good work out. There are a couple of technical spots, but nothing that a beginner can't tackle. If you find yourself in Peachtree City this is definately worth checking out.

Review: Fun ride. Follow the blue ribbons. Trail has a detour due to land owner permission changes. Did not have a bike computer with me, but I believe the detour has shorten the distance.

Review: I really liked this trail. This trail has everything. Easy riding in the beginning and for much of the trail - but definitely more advanced further back with some short, steep climbs and a few large ditches. The trail has numerous sections so you can make your ride a little different each time if you want. It's wide open in places and very tight in others. The Roller Coaster Section is my favorite. It heads south off the paved cart path near the Flat Creek Nature Preserve bridge. The only reason I wouldn't give this trail a 5 is because you are never very far from civilization but that just makes it easier to squeeze in a good ride when you don't have much time. This is a great trail in general but especially the southern half of it will challenge your strengths and improve your weaknesses.

Similar Trail: The 1996 Olympic Trail (Woods side) is faster than The Stinky Trail with longer, steeper climbs but parts of The Stinky Trail are more technical.

Review: I just got back from Stinky Trail and I really liked it. It had a good blend of obsticles for beginer and intermediate. The trail gets really tight and narrow in spots, "whatch your knuckles", but it was a good little workout, pretty good climbs.

Similar Trail: I moved to georgia from Wyoming so I really wouldn't know as I am getting back into riding.

Review: I rode this trail today (thanks to V-Ritchey for putting the trail on this site) and, as a very new beginner, I found this trail to be a challenging at times (some technical areas that I'm not ready for yet and the trail is very narrow in spots) but it is a great trail for me to hone my skills and get a good workout. The trail head was marked "stinky trail". I currently live in PTC so this trail is very accessible to me...I'll be riding it again.* Review edited 9/30/2010* Review edited 9/30/2010
