Description
This short trail is rocky, and is a tough climb on the way up. Once you're at the top, you can connect to the Ponderosa Loop and the rest of the Heil Valley trails. Although going up isn't much fun, the descent back down is a really good one. Just be careful of people coming up�you can get going pretty fast in the straights!

Review: This section of Heil is about 2.5 miles from the Wapiti TH to the Ponderosa loop. All climbing to the top but a great ride back down. Rocky at times but there�s also some really sweet singletrack and jumps. This trail connects to the Ponderosa loop and the other sections of Heil Valley Ranch. There�s a sign that says �Watch out for Mt. Lions�! I didn�t see any but there are some in the area. I did see some turkeys though. 49/Trek Superfly FS

Review: One of my favorite parts of Heil Valley, because of the descent. The climb is challenging, but not so much so that it's impossible or no fun. Going up to the top, around Ponderosa, and back down is a good 90-minute ride that'll give you a little bit of everything. And a lot of rocks. This is a really rocky trail.
