DescriptionVietnam is a narrow singletrack trail that splits off of the Black Branch trail
just before the big creek crossing. This trail runs toward the inside of the
loop along the side of a creek. After paralleling the creek for a while, it
crosses over, and then comes back, roughly following the creek. Choosing
to turn off of Black Branch onto Vietnam causes you to loose only about 100
yards of the black branch trail, and instead adds in almost 2 miles of sweet,
narrow singletrack.
The trail is nice and narrow, and twists and turns beneath the trees.
Horses are not allowed on the trail, so it has a very different feel from the
other trails in the Bull Mountain trail system. Instead of having a highway-
through-the-woods feel, it has a more pirate/underground aura. Be
prepared for some steep climbs, tight turns, and a couple of near-
impossible creek crossings.
