Description
Many people have referred to bike parks as the future of mountain biking, and with parks such as Valmont it is easy to see why. Valmont offers something for almost every type of mountain biker, and the way the park is designed it allows those with no skills and those with tons to both have fun!

With about 4 miles of flowy cross country trails ringing the park and littered with practice features, it is a great place to go for an in-town mountain bike ride or to introduce newbies to the sport.

But the main feature is the jump lines. Specifically, Valmont has 2 different pump tracks, a dirt jump area with 5 different lines (XS, S, M, L, XL) a flowy rhythmic slopestyle area with 4 different main lines (S, M, L, XL) and an untold number of combinations between those lines, as well as a dual slalom race course.

Valmont is a great place to bring the family for a fun day at a bike-themed park. There is a “tot track” that is an easy spot for tots to push their bikes around, there’s also picnic tables and a snack machine nearby as well as playground equipment for when the tots get bored of the bikes.

There is plenty at Valmont to keep you entertained for the day—and for many days to come! Working on your skills on the various jumps and technical features could become a life-long journey as you work towards perfection.

Review: Wow! Rode this the other day and could not believe how well it was designed and maintained. Who ever is riding the XL is crazy as hell. People were much friendlier than I expected. Can't believe it's free, I would have paid and thought it was worth it.

Similar Trail: Nothing like it that I've seen.

Review: This bike park has really done a great thing for the sport by making a trail that is accessible and open to all rider levels. It's got a little bit of everything. The XC trails are definitely no substitute for a real trail somewhere else (especially with the Rockies right there) but it would be a good place to do laps for fitness or get comfortable with speed. I would really label this park as a training ground for whatever you want to do elsewhere. Except for the terrain park sections. There are plenty of jumps to keep you satisfied for a while.

Review: Super fun bike park. I haven't ridden the slopestyle course, but the cross-country and obstacle trails are fantastic. Swoopy singletrack, fun little drops, rollers, sharp turns . . . a really great early morning or later afternoon ride. If you're in the area, this is a must.

Review: This was my first time visiting a legitimate bike park, and I was blown away. The amount of riding opportunities available, the sheer variety, the number of people using the trails, and the quality of the trail construction… Just awesome! I can see how living near a place like this could help you rapidly advance your skills.
