Description: The Right Loop is by far my favorite Tsali trail. Start at the trailhed parking lot and follow the signs for the LEFT LOOP (that's right). After about 0.3 miles, turn right onto the gravel road. This is County Line Road. Follow this trail up, then down, to the start of the right loop. Follow the right loop to the intersection with the Windy Gap Overlook loop (about 6 or 7 miles in). Take this loop out to the overlook, keeping to the right at each trail intersection. Turn around and take the loop back to the right. Skip this loop to cut over 2 miles from the total. Continue on the right loop and end in the trail head parking lot. This loop is what Tsali is all about.

Rode all of the trails at Tsali this past weekend. Honestly I liked the Right Loop the least. It is a good trail but compared to the others it didn't size up. I suggest everyoen still ride it but I found the trail without any cool features. The trail is not technical but does have climbs that make your legs burn. It was still fun but I thought Left loop was much better and a lot more fun, even at 45 degress in the rain.

Was on a family vacation near Pigon Forge so took the 2 hr early morning drive to Tasli. First the trails are as the other reviewers stated, but I think a little over hyped. The big distraction was the enormous mud pits, some 10 feet wide and almost as deep. If they fix the mud holes would give the trails a rating of 4

What I work out trail......not used to uphill trails like this back in Central Florida......we found that there are MOUNTIANS in Western North Carolina...LOL......however was a blast and the scenery riding the trail along the lakeside and the views from on top of Windy Ridge....breath taking......wow ....... could have stay there for hours, but knew we had to get back to the bottom and the ride down hill was awesome and fast.

Wow....what a killer loop......plenty of uphill and some fast downhill runs that will make you c*** your pants......this trail will give you the most workout, your legs will feel like jelly. Beautiful views of the Fontana Lake while you wind your way around the loop.

Not too tough or technical but still a challenge. Some nice downhill, great views even in the winter. Spiritual experience. Highly recommended for novices.

One hell of a drive to get there but well worth it. I loved the bike washing station and the rotation of the trails depending on the day of the week so we didn't encounter any horses. Probably one of the best maintained trails I've ever been on.

Great trail, Loved the lush growth along the trail that is someting that you don't a lot of here out west, Great veiws of lake fontana, at several points along the trail, can't wait to go back and rid the rest of the trail network there.

Similar Trail: Not much like it, in my opinion ,

The Right Loop was a blast. It started out with a nice flow with great views of Lake Fontana and then bombed down with some awsome long downhill sections. This is my favorite trail at Tsali so far.

I also rode this combined with the Left Loop. I would have to say this is some of the best tight singletrack I've ridden in sometime. While this is not a technical ride high speeds and great scenary make for an unforgettable ride. I look forward to hit'n this trail and the two other more technical trails soon. One BIG NOTE: The trail rotates two trails at a time between horses and MTBers on certain days of the week. I recommend gettting a schedule of when trails are open to MTBers so you are not disappointed if the trail you planned to ride is only open to horses.

I rode this combined with the Left Loop, and had a blast. Massive amounts of fun and fast downhill when ridden clockwise. There's a few bailout trails to shorten things up if you need them, but you will probably be having so much fun, you won't even think about using them. You get a real isolated feel on the backside of this trail, and some of the scenery is simply amazing.

Fast and swoopy. Nice to finally ride Tsali. Nothing too technical, but nice climbs.

Riding this trail in the winter exposed the most beautiful views of Lake Fontana. We we're the only riders at Tsali this day. 43 degrees and sunny when we started, Rain storm 10 minutes after we finished. A very wonderful and lucky day. Fun downhill. Many leaves on the trail but no fallen trees. Rode Bent Creek the day before.

Similar Trail: I don't know of any place like Tsali. The lake & the smokies makes the difference. Bent Creek is nice too.

This trail is a lot like the left loop. We rode this the opposite direction and encountered some good climbs that I would rather have gone down instead of up. The trail is starting to get really over grown in areas and was extreemly muddy due to recent rains.

First trail that I rode in the Tsali park. It is very good with some steep climbs. A little disappointed in the views. Its mostly like riding through the woods with glimpses of the lake. Don't get me wrong, it is well worth the ride, just a little over hyped.

Similar Trail: Other Tsali trails.
