Description: The fire road up is a kind of stairway to heaven. It provides easy access to the top where you can access a spider web of great, narrow, singletrack downhills, some including north shore-style stunts. The only drawback is that the downhills seem to be over in a flash. Oh, well, just climb back up and do it again!

Something for everyone here with longer loops to the backside and shorter to the top and down. Difficulty is equally varied between North Shore stunts to double track. Lots of up and down options for the X/C person. Drawback right now is two "horse ranches" with pack train type guides on the back side of it getting bigger. This is a network of trails that allows all levels of riders with 8-10 mile loops or Northshore style DH. The Flathead Fattires group will have a map posted at the parking area for Summer 2011. Awesome stuff here but it is multiple use so some trails have horses.
