Description
This trail system is made up of nearly 6 miles of tight, twisty, all-dirt singletrack in 3 separate loops, with a 4th loop in the works.(Fourth trail is complete)
Modest elevation gain, thick forest, and smooth hardpack make for rides which will satisfy every rider from beginner to advanced. The trails were designed in such a way that they would be a place not only for beginners to try out mountain biking, but also to allow more advanced riders an opportunity to test their bike handling skills by riding the narrow trails at a more rapid pace.

Review: Nice place near by St. Louis. All up My Tracks says 9.78 miles and 2801 vertical gain (including back tracks and connectors.) I'm not sure where all that vert came from. There are no monster climbs, but lots of little ones some short and steep and a couple gradual long ones. Most of it is good fun ride in the woods. Many fun water crossings mostly with well laid stones or found material in them. GORC maintains trails, and they're in pretty good shape, except loosing battle with vegetation, both from above and below, and a occasional dead fall. Good maps at TH's and markers at intersection, mostly easy to follow. You can ride parts of 1, 2,3, 4 and or 6 as a sircute or individual trails as loops. 5 is a supper fun little roller coaster, and 8 is very roller coastery to but wide and starting to wash out a little. 7 is a short side track.

Review: This is a great trail for conditioning rides, or people just learning to ride mountain bikes. But for a fairly easy trail, it also remains satisfying for more advanced riders due to it's very flowing characteristics. It is very well maintained now that it is part of the GORC group's maintenance program ( this trail system used to be impossible before GORC jumped in).

Review: I grew up near these trails, but oddly never rode them before moving away. I (along with several guys I ride with) think these trails are not reaching their full potential. It would be nice if the local club would construct some bridges and jumps, or at least a few more log jams. There are plenty of places to do this without interfering with beginner riding, hikers, runners, or the overall flow of the trails. Otherwise, the trails are well maintained and pretty fun to ride, but don't expect any huge downhills.

Review: Rode in March of 2010 and there were now at least 8 seperate trails but some just split off and meet back up with the same trail. Exellcent trail for beginners and awesome for advanced riders. This trail has something for everyone, awesome fast paced turns and really fun creek dips that are a blast. On a college campus so watch out for students jogging on the trail

Review: I love this trail because there is ZERO chance of falling down a cliff or jetting into a river. It is a flowy fitness track that gets your heart pumping in the first 30 seconds. This trail used to leave you wanting more, but now with the 4th loop 95% done it is a stacked system and you can go stir crazy and hardly ever do the same trail in the same direction. GORC crew keeps this place immaculate. 2 weeks after a severe storm blew down about thirty trees, they cleared it and even made it better. My own front yard still had debris, but the trail was pristine. Great Job GORC!!!!!!
