Description: Ride up the hill behind the gate, trail curves around to the dam, then the fun begins. Short climbs, a few technical/rocky sections, some steep descents and downhill turns. You will find it hard to believe you're in Oklahoma. Lots of cactus, bring spare tubes and tweezers. If your tires leave the trail, they will go flat. Do not ride in the mud. This mud is evil. This stuff sticks like crazy glue and will clog up everything on your bike, and you will walk out carrying a 60 pound glob of mud and metal.

Roman Nose is a great, flowing single track with lots of open, easy track on the south side. It also has several huge, flowing springs in a very unique environment! There are some steep, tough sections but they are not very long. Cactus everywhere so make sure you have slime in you're tires.

Good singletrack with some technical areas in canyon/mesa terrain. Mostly open, but some parts wooded. Not too big of climbs, but some will still get your heart rate up. Watch out for cactus-bring tubes and slime. All loops have something a little different. Trail was maintained and not overgrown like many other OK trails in summer. Good views of the lake. Trail signs could use some work.
