Description: Awesome park for 2 hour ride

good network of trails that vary from technical to fly down at 40 mph smooth downhills. watch out for trick trails that arent really trails and go off of cliffs. hahahaha

i was in.the area and rode this trail today and had a great time. i liked the southeastern side the best, good single track, small mud and log sections andgreat riding. i found the northwest section a little too easy, but still fun riding. None of the trails very tough, but well worth the ride.

awesome ride. trails are in great shape this year. only met two people walking dogs in my three hours there. got lost for a little bit but i went for 2 hours never riding the same trail twice. tough downhills, switchbacks and great climbs. amazing time... definitely going back tomorrow

Similar Trail: best spot ive been to thus far

Fairly easy trails, the main loops are well marked, but some of the side trails/loops are lacking in markings/maintenance. The main loops are pretty buff, fast and fun. No real tech here except a few roots and somewhat sandy conditions. No big climbs, but you will go up and down a lot, which makes for a good workout. Overall I'd say it's pretty easy/intermediate level stuff.

I rode these trails a couple of times before moving to Maine. I have been in the area a couple of weeks with some time and my bike. Bottom line this is perfect for an after work ride if you don't' have time to drive further. Also there a ton of new trails built just outside the main entrance. If you go in the main entrance and ride the trails to the right of the booth you will come upon some really fast very well constructed singletrack... did I say really fun single track? I mean it. Also if you know the area well and you don't want to make the ride out the singletrack you can access the trails by the soccer fields that are in the same complex as a public pool. Good luck and have fun. This trail system is a 4 if you can find the fun trails.

I agree, there are a great network of singletrack and downhill trails. You see a lot of other bikers, not too many hikers, and theres a lot of road bikes. The singletracks are really fun and can go from being easy to being technical, Robinson State Park has it all.

Lots of trails that connect everywhere, use common sense and you wont get lost. You have the river one side of the park and roads on the other. There are easy trails and there are fun, semi-technical, fast downhills, views etc. Not many people at all walking on the trails, may see another fellow mountain biker. You may find yourself playing in this park a couple hours easy. Not a hospital ride but still challenging and fun. If theres no parking at the main entrance park at the road across from it, maybe stick a note up on your window "biking in the park". Have fun!
