Description
This trail has miles of singletrack and is one of the best-maintained courses in the Atlanta area. This trail is actually behind a bike shop named Road & Trial Cyclery. Be sure to sign a release form at the shop and say hello to Al (he's the owner). This trail has several challenging climbs like "granny hill" and some serious descents if you can find them. Al does change the trail around on a regular basis to prevent serious erosion, so if you like the trail come back in a few weeks to check out some stuff you may have missed earlier. The short trail (estimate 6 miles) is marked very well and still provides a hell of workout. If you choose the long trial be sure to talk to someone at the shop. If this course is something you like be sure to check out the Chainbuster Classic race series that are held every few weeks. Warning: Briar patches can cause serious injury

Review: The state of GA recently decided to renumber the interstate exits, so to get to Road and Trail Cyclery, take Exit 92-Alcovy Rd. A new trail has been added and is in need of riders to provide more wear and definition to the trail. The whole trail system out there is great! Check them out if you haven't already!

Review: This is a great trail for a great work out. It has different elevations so you get a medium difficulty downhill and the same for climbs. You can make it as hard as you want

Review: I haven't ridden anywhere in three year. The trail is full of switchbacks and tight singltrack. This is not a very fast track due to all the turns. It is a lot of fun with a cool little jump called Jump Street. I recommend if you live with in 45 minutes to check out.

Review: Take a left at Alcovy Rd. to get to SR 142. Now for the review: This trail rocks! There are a couple of tough uphills, and some awesome downhills. Overall, a good mix of rocky, technical downhills, and some smooth racetrack downhills. Also, as a bonus I had the trail pretty much to myself, it's not crowded like some of the northside trails. Overall, a challenging trail that was certainly worth the 45 minute drive.

Similar Trail: Blanket's Creek, Sope Creek if it was longer and didn't suck.

Review: New Trails New Trails --there are a group of guys working on the trails to bypass some erosion and to just add some distance. I believe they are 3/4 of the way done and the new trails are open and need riding
