Trail Description
About this trail
Connect to this trail from the top of Prime Cut and the beginning of Chutes and Ladders.

This trail is a new school-style trail focusing on rhythm, flow, and air. Berms, rollers, jumps and whoops abound, allowing you to flow and fly your way down through the desert! While many of the other trails here at 18 Road are very flowy in their own right, the berms and descents on this trail really set you up to air off of the multitude of kickers and doubles. Get read for some serious fun!

Please note: this trail is for downhill travel ONLY!

Review: One of my favorite trails in the area and for good reason. Fun, fast, and flawy. Nothing overly technical and great to work on your turns and posture. This trail is a no brainer if you're riding 18 road. Quick in and out, very well marked and parallels the road so it's near impossible to get lost. Fun for anyone from someone learning to ride all the way to experts. Impossible to ride this trail without a smile on your face.

Review: One of the best 18 Road trails. They have a syle all their own and PBR takes that style to another level. I still prefer Kessel though!

Review: Super fun, fast, flowy trail! First ride ever on this trail was at sunset, and because the direction of the trial, that made it pretty difficult to see where I was going and what I was coming up on. Made for some beautiful views, though :)

Review: Super fun, fast singletrack with lots of jumps and fast banked turns. My only complaint was that it's a little short because of how fast it is. Overall great trail!

Review: Quite possibly the funnest trail @ 18 Rd. Great jumps and flow. I could ride this one all day.

Review: Had a blast trying to keep improving my speed on this trail (there's something about it that makes you want to do that) until I launched myself off trail into one of many huge cactus patches. Oh well, a few holes in my forearms and two ruined tubes and tires cooled my jets, but only temporarily. Can't blame the trail, right? All fixed up, I couldn't wait to do it again.

Review: This is a fun trail, but I'm not convinced that I enjoy it more than Zippety, Kessel, Joe's, etc. The jumps were a bit sharp for my taste, and if it rains the berms turn into big mud puddles. Still, it is definitely fun and worth riding.

Review: One of the most fun short trails I've ever ridden. All downhill, very fast in some sections, nice berms, jumps, rollers, gaps. Once you're down you'll want to do it over and over.

Review: This is newer, and my favorite ride at 18 Roads. The designers really put some thought and effort into this one. You might have to pedal twice, and you won't be able to stop grinning.

Review: We hit this trail on our way to Moab. A little bit of a climb to the top but pure fun coming back down. Very similar to some of the trails at Curt Gowdy State Park in Wyoming (which is IMBA Epic). Even this 50 year old caught some air.
The dirt road leading to the trail had some washboard issues but it was worth the drive. And there are a bunch of other high quality trails in this system. If you're in the area you really need to check it out.
