Some single tracks, some double tracks. It is in a very hilly area by several lakes, very heavily wooded. It is a park preserve, so it is very nice. Not for beginners as you might make good use of your helmet. Gps had me topped out at 30mph at some point.

Review: Nice an flowie. Seems to focus on single track flow over all else. Some advanced technical features, but mostly skill climbing obstacles. Trail lacks any significant drops or jumps, or pump sections. Nice mix of prairie and woods riding. Very beautiful, if you have only one place to ride and have the family with, this is a good choice.

Review: Much improvement from when I lived in MPLS. Lots of fun, flowy, with some techy sections , with qualifiers at the beginning. No real climbing, but often felt like a perpetual roller coaster.

Review: Beautiful track, good place for all levels of rider to experience. Seem properly rated. Probably one of the better experiences we had mountain biking in Minnesota and Wisconsin.

Review: Nice, fast trails with lots of turns and a decent amount of climbing. Very well taken care and popular in Twin Cities. A must ride if you are in the area

Review: Fun trail. I'm not sure if I like this or Lebanon better. More climbs, but still not a ton, you do get rewarded for them, though. Some nice technical sections, but mostly, this is a fast flowing trail. You will not get lost, which is nice. Plenty of parking, there was a small RV all set up and it interfered with no one. Ride this trail.

Review: What a great trail! This trail has everything but sustained climbs. It has flow sections, tech sections (with bypasses), and singletrack that weaves through the woods. It also has decent signage at most intersections so you won't get lost. Tech features are well marked and usually sessionable. The beginner loop at the beginning has some rollers added to it so the prairie isn't that boring. I would like to see some more so it's more pump than pedal in sections, but the height and spacing is good for a beginner section. A must-ride trail if you're in the twin cities!

Review: They recently updated the beginner loop that adds to the fun at the beginning. There is also a new technical section in the advanced loop that is quite enjoyable. One of my go to trails when I'm looking for a quick 10 mile ride.

Review: I had a hard time finding this trail from the directions provided here. From 35W go 2.25 miles West on County Road 42 and then turn left on Burnsville Parkway. Proceed for another 2.25 miles until you see a church (Three Rivers Church) which looks like a big red barn on the right. The next road a short way past the church on the left is Murphy lake road. The parking for the single track trail is on the left just one tenth of a mile up Murphy Lake Road. The entrance to the trail is across the street. The trail starts with a one mile CCW one-way beginners loop. Off of this loop is an intermediate CW one-way trail that connects with the more advanced trail. All trails are one way single track and were well maintained when I rode them on 8-11-11. The trails aren't well marked however. The connection to the advanced loop from the intermediate loop has a sign that simply reads "Trail Intersection". To get on the advanced trail go over the rock obstacle to the left. This is a long trail with many nice optional technical features and one expert loop. To return to the trail head on the intermediate trail stay right from the intersection. I really had a great ride on this trail and would like to thank those that maintain it. I hope that this review helps anyone to find and enjoy this fine one-way single track trail through beautiful wooded country.

Review: There is new trail here now that is strictly for mountain biking. It is 100% singletrack. It is tight and twisty with log rides and boulder fields in a few places to test your technical skills. Mostly lush and forested with a few open spots. There is no extended climbing, but some up and down. About 10 miles total, or do the inner loop twice for almost 17 miles. Great job by MORC and Three Rivers for creating a great track!!
