Description: Some single tracks, some double tracks. It is in a very hilly area by several lakes, very heavily wooded. It is a park preserve, so it is very nice. Not for beginners as you might make good use of your helmet. Gps had me topped out at 30mph at some point.

I had a hard time finding this trail from the directions provided here. From 35W go 2.25 miles West on County Road 42 and then turn left on Burnsville Parkway. Proceed for another 2.25 miles until you see a church (Three Rivers Church) which looks like a big red barn on the right. The next road a short way past the church on the left is Murphy lake road. The parking for the single track trail is on the left just one tenth of a mile up Murphy Lake Road. The entrance to the trail is across the street. The trail starts with a one mile CCW one-way beginners loop. Off of this loop is an intermediate CW one-way trail that connects with the more advanced trail. All trails are one way single track and were well maintained when I rode them on 8-11-11. The trails aren't well marked however. The connection to the advanced loop from the intermediate loop has a sign that simply reads "Trail Intersection". To get on the advanced trail go over the rock obstacle to the left. This is a long trail with many nice optional technical features and one expert loop. To return to the trail head on the intermediate trail stay right from the intersection. I really had a great ride on this trail and would like to thank those that maintain it. I hope that this review helps anyone to find and enjoy this fine one-way single track trail through beautiful wooded country.

this trail is really pretty. Really nice singletrack through scenic minnesota. Cant beat that, considering the convenience.

There is new trail here now that is strictly for mountain biking. It is 100% singletrack. It is tight and twisty with log rides and boulder fields in a few places to test your technical skills. Mostly lush and forested with a few open spots. There is no extended climbing, but some up and down. About 10 miles total, or do the inner loop twice for almost 17 miles. Great job by MORC and Three Rivers for creating a great track!!
