Mountain Biking Mount Sutro Historic Trail

****   Add a review
#107 of 1,005 mountain bike trails in California
#1,622 in the world

Fun ride through the Mt. Sutro forest. Technical signal track that has some big drops if you slip on "Historic Trail". A lot of cutbacks going down to Stanyan St. exit. This trail is well maintained by volunteers at http://sutrostewards.org.

Rider questions

Q: Kid (7-8 years old) friendly?
A: I'd do a ride through without the kid before just so you know where the sketchy spots are. There are some parts that are pretty narrow and could be dangerous for kids, but the most part, its pretty mild.
