Description
I start the ride from the entrance at the driveway for Pike Creek Christian Academy. You will see the dirt trail heading into the woods off of Polly Drummond Hill Rd.
From here hang left and follow the double track down around the water tower to connect with Snow Goose Trail. Follow it down to Middle Run and run the length of the creek to the bridge crossing. Once across the bridge hang Right and stay to the right on Lenape Trail eventually crossing over Fox Den Road. Go straight by Deacon's Walk and then Stay to the Right until you pop out on Smith Mill Road. Follow this across Paper Mill Road and arrive at Bryan's Field Trailhead. Follow Bryan's Field Trail around to the Left of the Map. Complete to Loop and arrive back at the trail head. Hang a Left on the Road until you can take a right on Whitely Farms Trail. Follow this until it comes back out on the dirt road. Take a Right and cross Pleasant Hill Road to get on The David English Trail Loop. Follow the loop either direction , once completed cross back over Pleasant Hill Road and hang a right onto the other half of Whitely Farms trail. Take a right on the Bryan's Field Trail Connecter. This will put you at the lower exit of the Skills Course. Take a Left and follow the trail until the cut-off. Turn right on the cut off and blast to the other side passing by the Mason-Dixon Monument. Hang Right back on Bryan's Field and follow down thru the woods along side Paper Mill Road. Take the first Left and Cross over Paper Mill Road back into Middle Run Natural Area. Stay Right on Lenape Trail Following it up to the dirt road and cross over onto Double Horseshoe Trail. Follow this back to Lenape trail staying to the right. When you come to a 3 way intersection turn Left back down thru the woods all the way to the creek. You can cross the creek here back to the Snow Goose Trail and follow back out to the bridge over Middle Run. Before crossing the bridge hand right and climb the hill back up to the parking lot.

Confused? Ride it, you'll get there.

Review: I parked in the possum hill lot which is in the middle run section of the park. They have a sweet S section near a church/school and tons of fun and fast trails. I did do the technical section which is part of Brian's field section. They replaced the teeter totter with a swinging bridge. One of the trail spinners told me people kept getting hurt on it so the switched it out. This was this past weekend (4/13/2013). So if you're looking to do the teeter totter expect it to be gone. They may put it back later but for now its out.

Review: I live 5 minutes from Marsh Creek State Park, and 15 minutes from French Creek and Harmony Hill/Sawmill in PA but, if I have the time, I prefer to make the 1 hour drive here to ride.

The flow and speed of the trails is amazing. There's a nice roller coaster feel to the ride. Maintenance work is impeccable, kudos to those who have built and maintained the trails and the multiple bridges and obstacles that they contain.

Review: Started at the trail head in the school parking lot prob around 430 PM Friday. The trails were nicely maintained and I asked a cpl MTBrs about which way to go. To the right and hug the river. "if not you'll be riding around for hours". Well I ended up riding for hours. The trails were fast and fun. I got turned around and kind of lost for a while. But really didn't care too much because it was such a blast. Eventually I found my way back to the parking lot. Really need to pay attention next time. What a hoot.

Review: The combination of trail systems in this area cover an impressive area. The trails are smooth, fast and flowy - easy to do a lot of miles per visit. The rollers are always fun and so are the built-up elements, whether it is the random log setup or the skills section with the see-saws, etc. These elements make the park more of a challenge if you want it. In general I would say White Clay is great for confidence-building for beginners but it also is what you make of it. On warm weekends you will probably encounter lots of hikers and other bikers.

Review: Very well maintained trail system. Lots of fun and mileage. There are no long rock gardens or killers hills with rocks. It is all pretty smooth. The rolling hills are very fun.

Review: Hats off to the peoples who built and maintain this system. And it IS a system - by linking these w/ Chestnut Hill you can ride 30 miles or so. PAY THE FEES... it's totally worth it and the right thing to do. Loved every minute of it, a real nice surprise of terrain, considering the topography. Be sure to ride the Corkscrew and the woods at Whitely Fields. NOTE: The hikers on these trails DO NOT LIKE BIKERS, so be cool, apparently they want two wheelers banned. Seriously, I never encountered such a bad vibe, anywhere. Otherwise, this system rocks.

Review: I love this set of trails that spread from Judge Morris all the way down to the nature center off Thompson's Bridge Rd. You can spend several hours exploring all the trails, and once you learn them you can FLY through them. Great downhills, small jumps, reasonable climbs and decent technical areas make this place perfect for everyone. One big pet peeve of mine, however, is the number of people who park at Pike Creek Christian Academy and other free places just to save a lousy THREE BUCKS!!! Are you kidding me? Isn't the PRIVILEGE of riding here worth the couple bucks? It's only $28 for a yearly pass. If you use the place 50 times a year.......you get the picture. Do your part and pay your way. The money helps keep the place maintained and AVAILABLE to riders. Don't be a cheapskate.

Similar Trail: Woodlawn Trustees off 202 in Wilmington and Fair Hill off 273 in Md.

Review: This is definately the best trail system in the area. It is as technical as you want it with many manmade obstcles (stairs, log bridges, rock gardens, etc). It either up hill or down and you can ride for at 10 miles without looping back. It is outstanding especially the skills course at Bryan's Field - don't miss it!!

Review: The trail is awesome. I saved it for last during my visit to Deleware and now regret it. It is raining and it will probably be my last ride while here. This trail has some fast down hill, moderate climbs and some technical features that are easily avoided for those who don't want to do them. It has a bit of everything from roller coaster action, skinny billy goat bench cuts to clean you off your bike leaning trees. If I am ever this way again I WILL be stopping here first.

Similar Trail: Don't know the area well enough. Reminds me of Sherman Branch in Charlotte, NC. Only this one has it beat!

Review: Very well thought out, and some of the best maintained trails in our area. Miles of FLOW. Pedal to your heart's content. Beginners can ride much of it. Plenty of optional challenge, including a fun park (log piles, rock piles, log tops, air bridges), that are a stiff technical challenge, even for experts.
