Review: This trail starts a little slow with the trees being tight. Opens up after a half mile and includes awesome downhill sections. The trail includes many technical parts as well.

Review: Great trail system. Some areas where you can gather lots of speed...other areas really test your tech skills

Review: Very fun flowy trail. Very worth a ride both ways. Make sure you check the direction before riding (Mon, Wed, Fri, Sun are one way - Tue, Thurs, Sat are the other).

Review: The only problem with this place is that there is only about 5-6 miles of trail. Fortunately every inch of trail here is ridiculously fun! There's not much elevation change, but the trails are very well designed so if you wanted to do a few laps to put on some miles, it would be pretty difficult to get bored. It may not be a destination trail because it is so short, but if you live in the area, you won't regret checking this place out. Just beware, its a one way trail that changes direction every day, so make sure you read the signs at the trail entrance. Enjoy!

Review: Nothing quiet like this trail. Fun, fast and flowy for sure. A great ride and worth some travel time to check out.

Review: Great trail. Lots of flow and steep climbs with fast downhills and sharp turns. They just added another 2 miles on the back end that is characteristic of the rest of the course. very well maintained.

Review: Merrell is a short, fun trail and a good change of pace from a typical Michigan XC trail. A lot of the trail is fast with good flow and rhythm. The trail alternates direction depending on the day, which makes it fun to come back to.

If you're looking to log some miles you'll need to ride the loop 3-4 times or hit Luton the same day.

Review: There are some great technical options if you want them, as well as some nice speed areas. I love the cut paths on the side of the hills. The turns in those sections are fast and fun!

Review: A great trail system! Not a lot of mileage, but well laid out so you can interconnect loops and go back and repeat favorite sections. Tons of flow. Lots of berms and rollers to pump. And built as natural as possible through the woods. And a bunch of rock and wooden features to play on as well. A place I will stop at again if I get through this area. I would love to ride in the daylight.

Review: This was the first ride here.Liked it very much. Fast and fun, yea its has man made sections, but fast and fun. The banked turns are very cool. If you think its to short, make two laps, fun.

Review: Fun trail that flows well but I didn't find it very technical. Reminded me of some of the easier loops at Brown County. Once you learn the trail I'm sure you could fly through it! Great trail for the area. This trail definitely feels man made. I thought it was an easy/intermediate trail.

Review: This trail has seen some recent updates. I think the full trail is now around 9 or 10 miles in length. Definitely one of the best flows for a ride in Grand Rapids. I would highly recommend.

Review: I have ridden this trail once, doing two laps. It's definitely fun, fast, and rolling, but the "technical" sections leave much to be desired (coming from the rocky terrain of Middle TN). Most of the rocks have been placed purposefully, but I'd love to see/help them build through some real rocky, technical sections as they expand.

Review: Great trail. hard packed mostly. great burms. Tighter than Fort Custer. Lots of rocks, sticking out of the ground all over, and you go over and through some BIG rocks that could catch your derailer pretty easy. This is my favorite trail so far. (I've rode Al Sabo, Fort Custer, and T.K. Lawless)

Review: Awesome trail. Some parts are like a roller coaster. Some cool technical sections. Mechanical trail. Only downside is that its a little short. Took three laps of different sections to get 14 miles. Didn't realize I was damaging myself as hard as I was. Trail is too much fun!!
