Finding the start of Meadows at the top can be a little tricky the first time...
What you are initially looking for is "Top of the World Dr" in Laguna Beach (92651)
At the southern most point of "Top of the World Dr" (where it begins to loop back around) there is private gated road. Running almost parallel to this, down the (western) side is a small singletrack/path, you might need to hunt around for it...
Once you have found it, there is a short descent, and then an even smaller climb, and you come out on the other side of the private gated road. This section is not private. Go right on this asphalt trail.
Continue south along the ridge. After a few hundred yards, you will see notice board on the left. This is the beginning/top of Meadows trail
