Description
Half of the trail is fast and moderately hilly. The other half is tight/winding single track. Bike trail is closed from December 15 through April 15 and signs claim the park closes at dusk. This 4 mile loop is a great place to practice your spinning, not to mention your technical skills on sudden, short climbs and winding singletrack.

Review: This trail is a fun but short trail. It has a bit of everything to practice basic skills on. It has a couple of short steep climbs that you can power through and plenty of flowing switchback type trails.

I would warn that it's more intermediate than beginner due to the tightness of the single track and switchbacks. If you're a pure beginner, then Island Lake or Tree Farm might be a place to get a couple rides in first as they are a bit more open and flatter.

Over a fun trail to fine tune some skills but a bit short. Great place to ride if you're close.

Review: Started out on this trail. I always tend to frequent it for a quick ride.

Review: This Ride was a great ride right after work. It was flowy so i didn't have to hammer up most hills, and had some technical candy in some downhill areas. Great for the intermediate Rider looking for places to go fast and have fun.

Review: fun trail, not many hills, but good for going fast and dodging trees. I'd consider it beginner/intermediate, but it's enjoyable. I'll be back.

Review: Great trail with nice climbs and rewarding descents. Some of the climbs are loose stones and gravel so a knobby back tire is good idea. I made the mistake of using a cross country tire.

Review: I ride Maybury 2 to 4 time a week and the Potawami once a week, this has good stuff to hone your skills, it's 6.6 miles on my computer, fun, lots of Choke Cherry trees fall, they are know for that. No big climbs but plenty of challenges, switchbacks, mud sometimes, logs alot, off camber turns, roots, rocks, wildlife.

Similar Trail: Potawami, I always improve my speed and time when I come back to Maybury after a Poto ride.

Review: A good beginner/intermediate trail. A few climbs mostly in the first few miles and then it opens up. The video that is listed here, although very cool, does not look like the single track trail but some of the hiking trails. This trail runs through a well wooded area with just a handful of switchbacks. I ride this trail regularly after work and two laps makes it a good workout.

Review: Stopped by to do this one after a morning out at Island Lake. Nice trail not to tough, a couple of small hills and lots of turns that kept my speed down. I saw a couple of posts that listed it at 4 miles but the trail markers and the GPS ended up at about 6 miles.

Review: The course now has a couple of sections where you have a choice of "easy, medium, or expert".. the expert is usualy a sick rock pile or some trees. Some of the newer sections are really bumpy and uncomfrotable to ride.

Review: Very rooty for the first mile, after that, no overly steep climbs but some decent hills. Fast winding fairly smooth finish to this ride, good to ride it twice, very fast track winding around. Pay to get into the park but its a nice area.

Review: Great trail for measuring time and stamina because it is so short and windy. It's short enough to memorize (meaning it's really fast after a few rides). There are some drainage problems and the keepers consistent pull out the steepish uphills and quick downhills (appease the families). Still, low 20 minute loops are possible. Perfect afterwork 3-looper for SE Michigan westsiders.
