Description: The Car Park is situated at the bottom end of the Commonwealth Games Course, this is the main loop and there are numerous other tracks running off this. There's also a Map at the car park with most of the trails detailed. Plenty of good singletrack and no really big hills.. just lot's of good fun flowing singletrack..

A fantastic set of trails for all to enjoy. Well maintained good single tracks A small diversion for a bit of climbing is to try the fire trail between lysterfield park and churchill park up near the Com. Games circuit. At the top of the com games circuit head to the look out point to find the fire trail. Head down into churchill then turn around and climb back up to the look-out for a a leg burning climb.

Start at the Car Park at the End of Hallam North Road and drop into the Hug Trail. Connect up to the Blair Witch trail following it right to the end running the sweet single tracks with the occasional climb. Watch for Eastern Grey Kangaroo's in the mornings. Dropping down to cross the Dam Wall. At the end of the Dam Wall veer right and pick up the single track that runs to the carpark at the Trail head. Follow the lake track to pick up the Buckle Trail. Awesome Log overs along the buckle trail . Got to the very end crossing multiple fire trails and keep following the Single Track to the top of the park to pick up the Upper Buckle Trail running east to west. Follow the track West to pick up the Middle trail and start heading back to the car park. Awesome sweeping Burmed corners and more sweet single track. Cross Lamberts track to climb onto the Red Gum trail. What goes down must come up so it's now a long climb back to the car park along RedGum Trail then the Glen Track all the way back to the car park. About 12km's round trip and well worth it.

the "Hug" trail is with no doubt the best in the lysterfield area, its fast a and twisty single track with heaps of log stack obsticals. There are alternative bypasses for the beginers around all obsticals. The downer to this "Hug" trail is that its not a singletrail loop, riding it back to the start near the car park meeting oncomming riders can get anoying. for the past 2 years I have hoped that they would loop the trail from the end of "blair witch" winding it paralell to the tramline walking trail, then back up to the car park on the end of Hallam road. Then this track would get 5 stars, but for now it gets a 4.

Similar Trail: ourimbah cccc xc track NSW the best singletrack ive ever ridden 2hrs drive nth from Syd.
