Description
Take a counter clockwise dirrection and just explore. the trail is FLAT, and I gave it a technical rating of 5 as an avarege. The perimeter is more of your family and slightly above style riding, there are trails in the interior (Tony's Playground) that border on insane trials riding. There is something for everyone here.

Review: Great mountain bike with obstacles Trail markers a bit confusing. FYI there is a great paved trail that takes you al the way into Omaha! There are NO sighs to help you on this trail. The trail is to connect with a lot of trails??

Review: I rode this for the first time today and I had a great time. The trailhead starts off in this ridiculous amount of sand, but after that, you're golden. There are tight areas and many log crossings, some small and some large. The area is mostly flat but still great fun. Further along the trail you hit some fun obstacles to test your balance. There are some sand pits along the way that you can make it through if you keep going. It will get a little squirrelly on you and make you laugh. I had a great time booking it and whipping around all the trees. Members of THOR were out today trimming away and I greatly appreciate their efforts and maintenance on this trail. This place has great potential and I will be back. Great layout and trail system. My ride ended in slipping in some deer poop, which then my spokes caught a branch, which then went in between my rear derailleur and cassette, which then bent my derailleur all up. Now I'm sad... ;-( But I did add some new photos for you to get an idea of the place.

Review: Lots of mud, tight turns, fallen trees, and dead trees on the path. We had to follow the flags to stay on the trail since it was a bit overgrown. The trail was a great us of gear 1 and provide ample opportunity for me to practice ducking and turning.

Review: Very tight trail, hard to get and maintain speed, due to tight trees. Great lowspeed technical trail. Lots of ducking under low overhanging trees. Fun and challenging

Review: THOR will be rebuilding the trails. As of spring 2012, 1 loop is open. Still a lot of work to do.

Review: Trails are currently inhabited by catfish, and will remain that way most of the summer. (see uploaded photos) Hopefully the river will bring a bunch of new logs to play on. Trails are a blast when dry.

Review: As a novice that is not in great shape, I can appreciate the flatness of the terrain. But don't twist what I am saying: this is a technical ride. I remember 2 teeter-totters, numerous log crossings (one tree was massive, maybe 6 feet high), many catwalks of various widths, a few small, but steep climbs that were paved with large stones, and a creek crossing with only a metal pipe over it. I loved the silty soil. The problem with this trail is the proximity to the Missouri River, which is cool most of time, but if it rains much, you cannot ride here. Very soggy. Overall, this a great ride for most and is my favorite (so far) in the area due to the technicality of the trail. So fun!

Review: Nice trails for a casual ride. Trails are very flat and geared more toward beginners. There are some cool platforms and ramps to mess around on in one area. But if your looking for a lot of advanced riding this might not be for you. Still a fun ride with some good views. Very close to the camping are too which is a plus. * Review edited 5/28/2010

Review: Trail was very well kept. Great job to the team maintaining it. It's EXREMELY flat. Absolutely no climbs. Some cool views with the Missouri River being right there. With it being in the river bottoms, some of the soil is a little sandy and it likes to kick up into your shoes which was a little annoying. I decided to choose the description of "Built for Beginners" but that doesn't mean there aren't any challenges. They have a couple very technical areas that were fun to mess around on. Plenty of downed logs to balance. A raised platform you can ride on. Pretty fun. All in all, this would be an absolute great trail for just about anyone. I took my nephew with me who had never ridden a trail in his life (and I think he's hooked now!!). He did just fine and I had a chance to have some fun on the technical stuff too. I would definitely hit this trail up again the next time I am in town.

Review: Very enjoyable ride! You can take it easy on some flat beginner trails or push your technical skills on some hard stuff. Three trail levels, easy, intermediate, and experienced. The trails were better than expected!
