Mountain Biking Indy

****   Add a review
#8 of 128 mountain bike trails in Illinois
#764 in the world

Network of multiple trails, each with varying degrees of difficulty. This rider only rode five trails over the course of three enjoyble hours. Fairly frequent fallen logs prove to be relatively easy hops. Certain trails provide plenty of air space with natural and trail-made ramps. Difficult climbs and switchbacks lead to trail-blazing chutes and a few brake-hugging downhills. Occasional creek crossings are very doable with a little planning ahead. Absolutley beautiful scenery with signature Peoria-area ravines. Incredible deer-spotting! (They can be within 15 feet of riders, sharing the trails which can pose occasional hazard). Loose gravel-packed dirt in some area can pose threatening to helmets.
