Description: Network of multiple trails, each with varying degrees of difficulty. This rider only rode five trails over the course of three enjoyble hours. Fairly frequent fallen logs prove to be relatively easy hops. Certain trails provide plenty of air space with natural and trail-made ramps. Difficult climbs and switchbacks lead to trail-blazing chutes and a few brake-hugging downhills. Occasional creek crossings are very doable with a little planning ahead. Absolutley beautiful scenery with signature Peoria-area ravines. Incredible deer-spotting! (They can be within 15 feet of riders, sharing the trails which can pose occasional hazard). Loose gravel-packed dirt in some area can pose threatening to helmets.

This is also called Marquette Heights. This is a good XC trail that has a fair amount of hills. There are lots of fast runs and stumps to jump.

12 mile network of XC type trails. Everything from easy flowing to very steep short sections. Fair amount of logs, G outs, rollers, and can get some serious air in a few places. There is a central "easy" single-track running lengthwise through the network, allowing for mix and match or bail out. Quite scenic and the deer say hi. Rode in both Dir. Clockwise flows better. Indy really takes advantage of the Illinois River Valley terrain. I had my worst spill(s) here so it gained my respect quickly. I enjoyed the difficulty both technically and physically. Early morning risers will enjoy the deer sightings as well.

Indy is the first place I rode. All of the trails are worth riding just be prepared to climb to them, as you start at the bottom. A long ride up the main utility road is not a bad warm up and from the top you can go in multiple directions.
