This trail offers a nice climb and some interesting singletrack. I would recommend climbing the fire road to the Silver Creek trail head and taking that down to Sawmill. Along this route you will encounter some fast singletrack as well as a couple of moderately difficult technical sections (all ridable).

This was a great ride, tons of technical, single track, and if you love to climb the fire road is a killer! I left some flesh behind on this ride, but it was well worth it. Not a ride for a beginner! Lots of loose rock and sand in the technical sections and if you fall, you may fall for awhile!

Big network of trails in here. Huge climb initially up fire road, it's a beast, then you can get into the singletrack. Didn't get to explore a ton, but the Wathan trail is phenomenal, real fast, great flow, some pretty technical sections. Same with Spring Creek, but didn't ride a ton of it

Awesome trail!!! the first climb was a real pain but then I'm from the midest. If you can gut it out to the top and then work you way down through the single track you will have a spectacular ride guaranteed, I know that I did.

There is a great trail network here and very convenient beign so close to Ft Collins. There are better rides in the area if you're willing to drive a bit further. The price of admission (park fee) is also a bit steep when you consider a little drive gets you more fun for free.

I made the mistake of climbing Mill Creek Trail, and not the service road, then I decended. Nasty, rocky, rooty, switchback infested gnarly downhill. Excellent veiws of Horsetooth reservior, Fort Collins, and the eastern plains of Colorado. Highly recommended.
