I drove down from Columbus to ride this trail and it was worth the drive. From I-71 take I-275E for 16.7 miles to SR-125 and take SR-125 for 10 miles east to Elklick or Bantam Road then take either road north into the park. Where these two roads merge is a ranger station with plenty of paved parking located at 39-00.264N and 084-08.445W. About 100 yds north on East Fork Lake Road is a gravel road on the left that goes back between two small ponds to a gravel mountain bike parking lot. It is from this lot that you'll see the White trailhead that takes off to the south and hugs Elklick Road until it dives into the woods and another well-marked trailhead that leads straight back to the Blue trailhead. If you start out on the White trailhead, then you will ride the White, the Blue, the Red/Yellow, the Technical, and the Lake trails in that order then double back the same way. These trails are physically located in the area to the south of the lake toward the western end and flow well in both directions. The trail is fun to ride, not particularly technical , is in great condition, and makes for a generally fast, single-track ride. The trail was much drier than I would have expected with only a few little puddles. The creek crossing was fun but overall, the fast singletrack was the most fun for me. If you ride in the next few weeks, expect to encounter quite a few bikes, hikers, and lots of deer. I'll upload some recent Fall pictures.

Similar Trail: The scenery on this trail is similar to Lake Hope State Park and Dillon State Park, and to a lesser extent, to Strouds Run State Park.

This trail was a lot of fun. Nothing technical...just fast single track with tight switchbacks. The creek crossing was definitely the highlight. The map at the parking lot was confusing in that there were three different ones, and they all used different color systems. I started on the white trail as a warm up, as it hooks into the bottom of the blue trail. Blue trail is just plain fun. The blue trail is supposed to hook to the yellow trail and then take you orange trail. Whatever....cross the creek, follow your nose and you'll figure it out. Highly recommend it. Best trail I've been on in Ohio thus far, but I've only lived here a few months.

rode trails 9/11/10 were in great shape but had about 5 or 6 trees down. i am sure they wont be there long CORA rocks with trail maintance. man made stuff is gone but trails are tough enough to maintain. man made is a constant fix anyway.i prefer sweet 100% singletrack anyway wich what eastfork is. just a great set of trails. get out and get some of eastfork trails are rockin!!!

rode this trail a few times and its pretty great actually, if you have a bike with swingarm suspension, midspring, and obviously front fork, you can sit down the entire trail at a cruising speed some technical stuff, cliffs looking over lake, big trees, very nice

Similar Trail: Caesar Creek fossil field to waterfall trail------kinda the same i guess

Nice trails if you just like to ride and not really think to much about whats going on. Kinda dumb how somebody took out most of the man-made features, there is a nice log skinny that had a 2 foot drop off but somebody removed the drop-off for some inane reason. If you can't ride then don't even try and don't get mad and destroy property when you fall! This trail has alot of issues with drainage, needs about 6 months worth of volunteer work to help with this issue. People also tend to ride when trails are muddy thereby destroying the trails and creating huge ruts when it dries. Not really any climbs to mention and certainly not many rocks or roots. Includes a creek crossing on the Tec Trail which is nice. In my opinion there is too many people using and abusing this trail system which is why I don't really ride there anymore. Would be better if they were directional to prevent head-on collisions as there are some blind corners, which nobody will fix. And yes I have done plenty of work, but it all gets destroyed anyway. And the average speed is about 10-12mph not 5mph.

This was my favorite trail in Ohio to ride until I rode Scioto Trail State Park. This trail is fast and fun and not too technical. Great scenery if you like that. This is still one of my favorite trails. CORA knows how to build some kickin singletrack.

Pretty decent set of trails. Some good flow through the intermediate section and advanced section. A couple of fun man-mades including a totter and some log rides. Not a long set of trails though. Good for a short jaunt or afterwork ride. THere were lots of hikers on the trail and heavy use during a Saturday. Everyone on the trail was friendly.

Good overall trail. There is now an advanced trail which is about 2.5 miles long. It is good for improving your skills. The medium trail is good for speed and practicing your cornering. It also has a couple obstacles like a teeter-totter and an elevated platform that is 2 feet high and 25-30 feet long. There are only a few hills which are pretty small. Great trails, just wish they were longer so you didn't have to loop so many times. You might run into some hikers while riding but they are good about getting out of the way. Bring plenty of water with you, there is no running water.

Great fast flowing single-track. SS riders would love this trail. Phase 3 has the most climbing which is like about 100' or so over all. This is a very fast riding trail. Well marked.
