The trail then has a few steep sections on the climb. Stay left at the fork. Continue climbing through several meadows until arriving at Idler Creek. The trail continues beyond this, but conditions are variable and most turn around at Idler

Travel east from McCall on Lick Creek Road about 9 miles to the Lake Fork Campground. Continue 1 mile past the campground, across the bridge, and turn right into the dispersed camping area.
