Description: When I went to this trail there was a sign on the gate saying "No Riding Today". So, I parked on the side of the road and jumped onto the trail in the woods just to check it out. I wasn't able to ride the whole thing but I got a pretty good feel for the trail. The day I was there the trail was very wet and seemed to be quite washed out. Apparently this is a big race course because there were arrow signs on like every tree on the course. This seems to be a fairly fast, smooth course but it seems to be quite washed out and eroded. A good trail to warm up for the other Sanford trails. Reminds me of the GMA trails in Cumming, GA.

my son and I TRIED to ride this "trail", despite all the signs all around the MTX park that said "NO BIKES". Mistake - it is NOT for bikes any longer. Take this one OFF your radar!!

It has lots of roots and ruts from motocross riders. Fairly hard packed surfaces with some mudd. Would not ride after a rainy day. Bring lots of mosquitoe repellent. Not a bad ride.

Great trail! I made three laps and enjoyed every one of them. This is just great singletrack. The climbs are short as are the downhills. This is one of the rootiest trails I've ever been on - more so than Owl's Roost! The sand is still pretty hard-packed so it can be extremely fast. The last section closer to the road weaves next to a creek - beautiful scenery. It's a fun trail to ride if you are in the area, along with Governor's Creek and San-Lee.

Similar Trail: Tanglewood Park, Horizons, Cheraw State Park

Went by today, trail was closed for hunting season but will open in just a couple days, January 2, 2006. Trail seems to get pretty muddy after a rain, bring a towel for after your ride!

Fun, pretty little trail! Didn't see another soul the entire Saturday afternoon I was there.

Short and sweet. No climbing. Fast ride. Great place to go and do many laps!! Would not recommend wet.

I went just after a rain, and the trail was really muddy, it was an all around fun ride, a few killer uphills, the trails are really well marked.

Also a Motocross track on the land. Trailhead is easy to find once you pull into the gate. Trail is closed during motocross races and hunting season though.
