TRAIL REVIEWS   review this trail

This trail accomidates riders of all levels. Beginner loop is family friendly and a great way to break in a beginner. Advanced trails allow for fast techincal charging mixed with short changes in elevation. The DJ section in the westside of the park is huge and impressive. 3 pump tracks, skinny logs, small hits galore, and friendly locals make this trail pretty awesome.

Similar Trail: Cunningham is similar to nothing else in Long Island. It's a completely different kind of feel.

Only rode this trail once but I can definitely say that its a good one. Close to the city in Queens off the Clearview Expwy. This trail is maintained by CLIMB so its decently marked and loads of fun. I found the trail to be very technical due to the BMX stunts along the trail which make this by far the most fun I have ever experienced on any trail in NY.

Can't believe this kind of singletrack can be had so deep within Queens. Cunningham is in my backyard but I would justify driving up to 40 minutes for this ride. Unlike a lot of Long Island's trails the surfaces here are hard pack dirt (not sandy) and flow fast. The west end of the park offers more techical riding and the east is full of small elevational changes and two pump tracks and a DJ spot. Locals are very cool. Word of Caution: Lots of poison ivy in Cunningham so be careful where you bail!

Trails for all abilities from beginners to expert including a bmx style pump track and dirt jump sections. The
trails on the east side are easier, the trails on the west side are harder. For trail map go to:
