Description: Very close to Hooper Rd. park .a lot of people park here and ride both with a short road ride to the Hooper Trails .No big hills but enough bumps and humps to make this a fun ride for the day or just an afternoon workout.

Comite river trail system is the most fun you can have on two wheels around the city of baton rouge. Frequently riden by locals, this trail is usually well kept and full of locals out for a ride. If you are lookin for a bit more of a challenge check out the hooper road trails or drive on up to st francisville and try out 'the beast' trail up there.

This trail was a very pleasant surprise. FUN, FUN, FUN. No big hills but lots of humps and banked turns that you can really pump through. There are a couple of humps with drops that put this trail in the BLUE category. I will definitely stop here again on my next trip through Baton Rouge.

Similar Trail: This trail reminds me of Arbor Hills in Plano, TX, although Arbor hills actually has some real climbs and a bit more roots. Arbor Hills is very short (2.2mi) but 3 laps makes a great workout.

Very fun trail for both beginners and more advanced riders. Many short ups and downs, no real uphill climbs. There are two big drops in the sport expert section which are pretty fun to do. Many nice jumps are available at the bowl. Connection trail to Hooper is a nice addition although it is rather messy due to the bayou that overflows occasionally that runs along side of it. This is a very well maintained trail with a nice pavillion, bathrooms, a bike washing area, and ample parking.

This trail could be a great time if you knew it like the back of your hand, but for someone new to the track it feels pretty choppy. The turns and twists are unexpected and at times it doesn't flow well. However, it is very well maintained and if you make the connection to Hooper, a great ride can be had.

This was my first "real" MTB trail I had ever ridden. Ever since my first time, I have been obsessed with the sport and I crave going back. This trail is great for everyone from beginner on up.

This is an excellent trail. It is fast and flowing and all around fun. If you like long low gear climbs then this is not for you. Although there is no long downhill either (but what do you expect in Louisiana). This trail is like a roller coaster and will leave you tired and satisfied if rode with intensity. Having rode several other trails in the southeast region the thing this one has going for it are the jumps. There are numerous spots to catch air while riding the trail. Several tabletops are built in as well as an area called the Bowl (which is like a natural empty swimming pool). You can ride the Connection Trail along the creek and combine Comite with Hooper Rd Trails. The trail has nice facilities including bathrooms, a bike wash, and a pavilion at the trail head. The BRAMBA group does an excellent job maintaining the system; and there is something there for everyone

Fast, hardpack clay. Short, very short climbs and some short, steep drops. A good network, well maintained and improving.

Similar Trail: Anthills in Houston, TX.

Definitely a good trail system for beginners as there are two difficulty levels neither being very hard. For more experienced riders it is a good training ground and has some 'playground' aspects to it. A fun ride none the less.

Great trail for a workout. Not to difficult except on the expert area. Expert area has some fast drops and climbs. Very well maintained by BRAMBA.

The beginner trail is a bit on the easy side with enough little "surprises" to gain some decent experience. The advanced/sport spurs are a blast with plenty of technical spots to keep someone busy.

Probably considered easy by experienced riders but the trail is well maintained with bathrooms and a picnic pavillion and bike wash..a great place for "in towners" for an afternoon ride
