DescriptionAt approximately 2 miles, Charlie’s Cutoff isn’t nearly the longest trail in the Buffalo Creek trail system, but it really packs a punch! Descending the trail offers up some big rocks, including some glorious slickrock sections to play on. Further down towards the bottom, the trail runs along a creek deep under the cover of some massive ever green trees, turning to rooty, technical trail in black dirt—a radical departure from the normally dry, gravelly singletrack of the rest of the trail system. While it is tough, climbing UP Charlie’s is very doable too.

Great descents, great little obstacle mazes, real heads-up singletrack riding.
I was pushed to the limit of what I enjoy riding on my rigid bike.
I will ride this trail every time I go back to Buff Creek!
