Description
At approximately 2 miles, Charlie’s Cutoff isn’t nearly the longest trail in the Buffalo Creek trail system, but it really packs a punch! Descending the trail offers up some big rocks, including some glorious slickrock sections to play on. Further down towards the bottom, the trail runs along a creek deep under the cover of some massive ever green trees, turning to rooty, technical trail in black dirt—a radical departure from the normally dry, gravelly singletrack of the rest of the trail system. While it is tough, climbing UP Charlie’s is very doable too.

Review: I'm in agreement with everyone who says this is the best trail in the Buff Creek system, and also in agreement that it's only fault is not being long enough!
Great descents, great little obstacle mazes, real heads-up singletrack riding.
I was pushed to the limit of what I enjoy riding on my rigid bike.
I will ride this trail every time I go back to Buff Creek!

Review: This one is a real joy to ride. It has great flow, enough grade to keep you going without pedaling, but not so much to make you use your brakes. The little techy bits along the way are excellent icing ont he Buffalo Creek cake. If only it wasn't so short.

Review: This is one of the best descents on this side of the state. There are some technical portions, but you can keep your speed up through most of it. It'll put a big smile on your face.

Review: Definitely one of my favorite sections of trail at Buff Creek. Diverse terrain of rocky, sandy trails. Go up and over them and around them. Awesome.

Review: Great trail! One of the more technically demanding trails in the system (aside from Blackjack, which is insane), but it still isn't too tough. If at all possible, try to ride this trail!
