Description: Careful of the MPs on the base, you aren't supposed to be there. Great biking to train close to Burlington.

Great track, clean and beginner to intermediate riding. Be ware; It is a government posted property-anything can happen. Charges? Escort? Asked to leave? Getting shot is also possible if the range is HOT! Ride safe and be curteous. It's no secret of these trails. people who work on post ride here almost every day!

Still new to ridding around here, but so far it's a great way to get a longer ride in when connected to sunny hollow. There is a great section of the North Plateau in sunny hollow, although it's most fun to ride it into sunny hollow (not outbound). Some nice logs across the trail which you can launch of to!

This is a great trail center with a good mix of double track and single track. It is any easy ride to get there from downtown Burlington or Winooski. The are some great features. The most notable is a steep ridge line you can descend while weaving through pines

This network links up with the Sunny Hollow system built by F.O.T.W. As long as you stay in the woods, you will be fine. Unlike Sunny Hollow, signage is limited and it is possible to get quite lost. Bring the GPS and you're fine. Some pretty sweet trail with the occasional berm and BIG climb. (up narrow trail that drops off on both sides) No massive drops but some cool tech riding. At times far more so than the adjacent Sunny Hollow trails.

Ok, time to get this straight. I've been on this trail multiple times, I live practically down the road. Anyways, it is true that some of trail leads into the military base, but it's pretty noticeable if you do. They do NOT care if you ride in the woods/forest. Maybe in the past they decided to kick some people out, and who knows, maybe in the future they will kick me out. It's worth your time if you are in the area. So take the chance to look into this trail. It's got some singletracks, some doubletracks, and some technical stuff, but that depends on where you go.

PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT THE VERMONT NATIONAL GUARD WILL PRESS CHARGES FOR TRESPASSING ON CAMP JOHNSON. VANDALS MAY HAVE TORN DOWN SOME FENCING AND SOME "DO NOT TRESPASS SIGNS". WHETHER THE SIGNS ARE UP OR TORN DOWN, CAMP JOHNSON IS NOT A RECREATIONAL FACILITY. THERE ARE LIVE FIRING RANGES AND OTHER FACILITIES THAT ARE HAZARDOUS.

From my recent experience- as long as you stay in the woods, the MP's don't care. If you go biking out onto the base grounds (i.e. you're totally lost) and they see you, all they'll do is escort you off base. There's a lot of trails in here. Oftentimes the lower parts have a couple of mud pits through a lot of the season. There's a few good jumps and lots of log crossings in here. Trails can be accessed from the road adjacent to Costco by the park sign and from behind St. Mike's I think you can connect over. This is good and hilly- big climbs and descents. But not too technical
