Description
Starts out flat and easy. There are hikers during the summer and snowshoers on this trail during other

months. Stay straight when you come to your first switchback, staying along the topo lines to a set of

descending switchbacks into a neighborhood. This area has street signs to Davos Trailhead. Follow those

up to the Davos TH and onto the dirt road double track. Stay on this road for the 1800+ feet of elevation

gain to the towers on Davos Hill. Enjoy the view of Edwards, Avon, Minturn, Meadow Mountain and Vail.

Turn around and come back, its a fun fast descent with plenty of road to burn up on the way down.

Review: Can be ridden on single speed with some pushing from Buffer to Davos. For more trail, start further east at the trailhead off Red Sandstone Road. Make sure and catch the last bit of the North Trail coming down the Davos Road on the right.
