Description
Great ride in any direction but counter clockwise as a connection with Skinny and Great wall would be my suggestion. At ~5.8 miles, you better not skip this trail. All the typical phrases that you'd think of for the F.A.T.S. trails apply to this one. Along with Skinny, it's a 12 mile pump track that feels like you could probably ride even if you had no drivetrain!! You'll know why they call this one the Brown WAVE very shortly into the loop. Watch out for the groups of rollers or you'll end up riding on your front wheel only. You have to ride a short section of Skinny to access the Brown Wave but that loop won't leave you disappointed either. Yet another trail that is NOT to be missed.

Review: Such a great trail. Fast, flowy, and smooth. Plenty of opportunity for air off of the rollers. Just don't get in over you head.

Review: Traveled from Maryland for the week to ride these trails. Well maintained and thought out trail system. Wear glasses as the saved my eyes many times in the pine forest areas. Not very technical and no dabs for me except at intersections. No water crossings and when I was there dry conditions with pine needles comforting my ride. Rode clockwise.

Review: Second easiest loop at FATS. Fast flowing, smooth singletrack filled with dips, whoopie-dos and tons of fun. All the thrills of a rollercoaster with out the lines. A few rock gardens just to keep you honest with the bike skills. Watch out for "brown wave proper" a series of quick, fast, dips that have drawn blood form in experienced and expert riders alike. I recommend trying BW counter clockwise the first time out (hit the dips with speed) but the trail is awesome to ride both directions.

Review: Fantastic ride yesterday. First time to ride any of the FATS. Definetly picked a good one to start. Can't wait to go back and try another trail.
