Description: Designed and built by the Down East Cyclists, this trail takes advantage of the natural terrain and obstacles. What we lack in mountains here in the East, we make up for in technical singletrack with switch backs, log obstacles, short drops and climbs. An excellent trail for the beginner and expert alike, we train and race here year round. Check out our web page for more info.

New stuff added and now it's a blast. Used to be kinda boring. Now it's got some obstacles to make it fun and a good workout.

Great ride for an aerobic workout, provided you keep your speed up. While lacking substantial climbs or gnarly descents, it still has lots of fun terrain to challenge beginers who are looking to improve their skills, and entertain the advanced rider just the same.

I left Jacksonville April 07, they had just added approx. 1.1 miles to the Brig Trail. It is new trail, a little soft but is fun with added hills and logs. A must do if you are in Jacksonville aboard Camp Lejeune.

Similar Trail: Pirrahna Pit, New River all within an hour of each other

A fun trail with lots of log obstacles. Not a lot of uphills and downhills due to the flat Lejeune area, but still an excellent ride. Well maintained and fun for beginners through experts. Nice quick ride - usually only takes 30-45 minutes.

Similar Trail: New River Air Station

Last week was my very first time ever riding on a biking trail and I had a great time, I went back for seconds today. I cant really put a rating on it because I have never rode before.

I am based aboard Camp Lejeune. I had surgery so I haven't taken a ride on the trail lately. It's the same from what I here. It's definitely a beginner trail with only about 2 steep but short hill climbs. Only one or two ramps and the rest are some easy log jumps. It's approximately 5 miles but easy and fast for the most part. Definitely agree that traveling just to ride this one isn't something to do. I heard the trail at the New River Air Station is pretty good...

Not a bad trail. Good for a quick ride if you are in the area, but I would not travel just to ride it. Generally flat with a few short steep sections and plenty of small log crossings
