Description: Bond Brook has been created and maintained by the Central Maine Chapter of NEMBA. It is a "work in progress" although land owner issues have cause some delays. There are several mini-loops off the parking area. The easiest is to take the birch entrance, follow it until it dumps you off onto a piece of double track. The single track continues straight ahead. (there is a pretty nasty switchback you have to contend with first...loose granite and slate) Follow it until you get to the power lines. From there, follow the red flags. It will loop you around until you get to the "Bicycle Trail". (there is an old rusted out bike on the side of it) Continue to follow the single track (labeled with red flags) until you get back to the lot.

The signage isn't overly clear. It is possible to get a little lost. Following all the red flags WILL help.

I've been riding these trails with a couple of my buddies all summer last year & this season. This is a work in progress, but great riding. Most of which is single track and VERY technical. If you have broad shoulders & bar ends, it makes for a tight fit (I know) I will post pics & videos soon from our rides

A work-in-progress to be sure. Recently land owners have cut a lot of trail for ATV/ Snowmobile use and has taken its toll on the riding. Local Nemba chapter has been working to improve the riding but have taken a hiatus to focus on other projects. What is ride-able is still pretty good.
