Description
This is a multi-use trail made of crushed gravel. There are no technical features at all, but it is good for a lunchtime lap or for a couple of laps after work. It's also good for taking small kids riding on to get them onto a dirt trail that won't freak them out.
As a loop it's about 2.7 miles, 3.9 if you ride out to each of the two overlooks, and it can be ridden in either direction.

Review: This is a typical open space park with semi-truck wide, immaculately groomed gravel trails. It is surrounded on 3 (probably soon to be 4) sides by the every growing Denver megalopolis. Nothing fun here and to get any kind of workout will require multiple laps (there are a couple good climbs). Expect plenty of hikers, including stroller-pushing families.

Review: It is a simple trail with great views of downtown and front range THOUGH it's not a trail for SMALL kids. There are several climbs/decents with loose shale top surface rock that a youngsters may not manage well, they will be walking those sections.
