Description: Although I marked this trail type as "singletrack" there is really only a couple miles of actual singletrack - the rest is grassy doubletrack. From the parking area, head around the gate and ride around the left side of the lake - this is where the 3 singletrack loops start. Once you've ridden all the singletrack, head out onto the doubletrack for a fast training ride.

I just moved down to Milledgeville yesterday and went to ride these trails today. It's very easy to get lost once you get further into the trail. Couple of steeper and loose climbs but it was fun despite the heat index of 105 degrees. Great beginners trail and the forest it is in is nice, I saw 2 deer at 1 in the afternoon.

a good ride. lots of trails that branch off, so I did a lot of backtracking to get back to the lake

pretty fun single track trial. awesome trial for the ones who are just beginnning to ride. i have rode the trial twice and i will be back. its fun, some decent climbs but nothing to sweat about. there are some places to gain speed which is always fun, but again nothing to sweat about. but i agree with the below post....bring someone who has ridden there before. the first time my friend and I took a wrong turn and found ourselves lost for a couple hrs., but all in all, its fun!

It took me a while to find the singletrack my first time out - stick to the left side of the lake and you should see signs for it. Many gravel roads and doubletrack trails to choose from here, some of which are pretty overgrown. Bring a map or a friend who knows their way around!
